Madrona Hospice is looking for companionship volunteers for our patients. As a volunteer, you may participate in a variety of activities including:
-conversation
-reading
-music and singing
-reminiscing
-games
-creating memory jars and life books
-pet walking and more.
Hospice volunteers are integral members of the Interdisciplinary Team. Volunteers provide emotional support and care which are crucial to cultivating relationships between Madrona Hospice and its patients, and their families.
Our Volunteer Services Department works with our volunteers to match their skills to current needs in the best way possible. After completing training, volunteers choose how much time they can give. Whether volunteering for as little as a few hours a month or six hours a week, all efforts are appreciated and needed.
